The match of the century, absence versus thin air



First off: HUGE THANK YOU to Mike Hammond for taking these breathtaking photographs. I had such a great time shooting this outfit and look forward to work with him again! I was also inspire to just get out there and shoot more fashion portraits of other people.The shoot felt so natural and like I was just going through a casual day in my life (which in this case was right after my last class was cancelled!) The weather was amazing and lucky me, my hat did not fly away after getting so many compliments on the street from strangers. I was hoping not to loose it that day to the windy city!

Everything in this look is old raggedy clothes that I've had sitting in my closet, with a hint of a few thrifted items from the Urban Outfitters Surplus store (such a steal of a deal every time I go there.) The shorts cost me only $10(regularly priced $65) and the hat was $5! 

I love finding potential in anything because I believe that anything has the chance to become into something magnificent!
